Responsibilities
* Identify and assess strategic and potential suppliers.
* Negotiate contracts and supply agreements.
* Foster strong relationships with current suppliers.
* Place and track purchase orders.
* Ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
* Verify that materials and components meet technical specifications and quality standards.
* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve supply-related issues.
* Monitor and manage costs associated with purchased materials and services.
* Conduct cost analyses and devise strategies for cost reduction.
* Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge efficiency.
* Prepare regular reports on supplier performance and procurement status.
* Implement enhancements in procurement processes to boost efficiency.
* Utilize inventory management systems and ERP software.
Requirements
* University degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering / science degrees. Master’s Degree in Supply Chain is a plus.
* Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the industrial sector.
* English at negotiation level is required. French is a plus.
* Experience in water treatment plants valuable.
* Availability for travel.
* Proficiency in analyzing purchasing and cost data to inform decision-making.
* Strong ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
