NIUKO is seeking a Solution Architect with a passion for digital transformation technologies and a drive for innovation. The Solution Architect will design and implement scalable technology solutions that align with the business objectives of our clients. This role requires deep technical expertise, passion for technology, and strong collaboration skills, with a focus on large pharmaceutical customers and complex data management needs. This is a hybrid work opportunity.
Responsibilities:
* Client Collaboration and Requirements Analysis: Partner with clients to understand and translate their business requirements into innovative and scalable technology solutions. Leverage deep industry expertise to ensure that all implementations are aligned with both strategic business objectives and operational goals.
* Technical Architecture and Infrastructure Design: Collaborate with the internal technical team to design and implement robust, secure, and scalable architectures that efficiently collect, extract, analyze, and deliver insights from critical manufacturing data. Apply principles of system integration, cloud computing, and cybersecurity best practices to create infrastructure that supports high availability, redundancy, and future growth.
* Emerging Technologies: Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies and software tools to ensure that the solutions implemented are at the forefront of digital transformation.
* Team Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor and guide a cross-functional technical team, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and collaboration. Promote the adoption of best practices in software development, data management, and automation, while empowering the team to elevate their capabilities and drive the success of each project.
Key Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technology discipline, with a preference for specializations in industrial automation or data science.
* Language: Fluent in English (oral and written).
* Systems Integration and Architecture: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, including designing and deploying scalable architectures. Strong knowledge of system integration protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, and REST APIs.
* Programming and Data Management: Experience with Python, LUA, SQL.
* Industry Tools and Platforms: Hands-on experience with technologies such as AVEVA PI Historian, AspenTech Inmation, Ignition, and MES systems (Werum PASX, Siemens OpCenter). Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Reporting solutions.
* Innovation and Continuous Learning: Experience with Industry 4.0 and digital transformation initiatives, and a passion for applying emerging technologies to manufacturing operations.
* Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11 (U.S.), EudraLex Volume 4 Annex 11 (EU), and GAMP 5 guidelines.
* Cybersecurity: Knowledge of secure architecture design and cybersecurity standards (NIST, ISA 62443).
