What we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Operational Management team in Madrid. The ideal candidate will possess a robust blend of business analysis and project management skills.
Responsibilities
1. Development and monitoring of projects in all phases: requirements gathering, functional analysis, technical analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring and improvement stages.
2. Development of business models end to end, (Front / Back / Auxiliaries) in B2C and B2B2C channels mainly.
3. Requirements gathering through interviews, meetings, document analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, etc.
4. Analyse and document business requirements and translate them into functional and design specifications to be made available to technical areas.
5. Perform presentations/demonstrations/proofs of concept (POC) to stakeholders.
6. Communication between the different business areas, customers and suppliers in charge of project development and execution.
7. Definition of project portfolio priorities according to business needs (planning and development).
8. Execution of project setup in own corporate tools.
9. Business monitoring, budget compliance and support in the generation of reports.
10. Project training to support teams, follow-up and resolution of cases.
11. Aligning multinational strategies to local business units in the field of projects.
12. Supporting the manager in team management.
13. Ensure project compliance with legal aspects and internal regulations.
14. Conduct market research. Perform data analysis and trend analysis.
Requirements
1. Degree in Computer Engineering or similar.
2. At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Project Manager. Previous experience in insurance companies or companies related to the sector will be mandatory.
3. Extensive functional and business knowledge of the insurance sector and its products.
4. Experience managing technology project development service providers.
5. Advanced level of English (at least C1 level).
6. Experience as a link between the business team and the rest of areas involved in project development.
7. Experience working with Excel, Access, SQL, Power BI, Data Modelling, Data Warehouse modelling, Jira, etc.
8. Agile Methodology (mainly SCRUM).
9. Experience in business model migration (system and process changes).
10. Experience in business model development for end-customer, database management for campaigns, user UX, design, etc.
11. Business orientation, meeting business objectives.
12. Resilience, ability to adapt to change.
13. Multidisciplinary, ability to take on projects with different approaches (business, support, marketing...), sectors and markets.
14. Skills and scope for learning in different areas (offer, business, IT, support, marketing...)
15. Extroverted character, ability to relate to other teams and to understand their needs and be able to orientate them to the business strategy.
