Job Title: Application Developer
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with development team and other IT staff to set specifications for new applications.
2. Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update, and add new features.
3. Develop new websites, apps, and improve existing websites.
4. Update our websites and apps; create new sections.
5. Improve web and app security and plugins.
6. Design, develop, and test mobile applications for the iOS & Android platform.
7. Participate in the full mobile application development life cycle.
8. Stay informed on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile software development.
9. Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code.
10. Design printed circuit boards (PCB) to meet customer quality and delivery requirements.
11. Help refine workflow processes to enhance the product development process.
12. Build CMF strategies that connect social/target consumer lifestyle trends with material technologies and product concepts.
13. Drive ideation sessions, multi-functional brainstorms, and research activities on users, trends, materials, and processes applicable to future product development.
14. Create visual and functional prototypes for research and internal review.
15. Support cost reduction while maintaining design intent and user experience.
16. Work with design engineers directly on CAD models to configure/package engineering concepts into compelling products.
Data Science Management:
1. Gather and prepare relevant data for analytics applications.
2. Use various analytics tools to detect patterns, trends, and relationships in data sets.
3. Develop statistical and predictive models to analyze data sets.
4. Conduct risk assessments, collecting and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports, and market trends.
5. Establish policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organization's services and departments.
6. Review and assess risk management policies and protocols; make recommendations and implement modifications and improvements.
Risk Management (Safety in the Workplace):
1. Create business continuity plans to limit risks; conduct data collection at the workplace.
2. Build risk awareness among staff by providing support and training within the company.
3. Assess classifications of hazards and risks at work and implement health and safety measures.
4. Prepare risk assessments and apply appropriate methods.
