The Sales team for Iberia is responsible for all sales-related activities from initial customer contact to submitting offers, negotiating new contracts for wind farms, and concluding them. You will interact with different stakeholders involved in the chain, including internal ones.

Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will report to the Head of Sales of Iberia:
* Provide day-to-day interaction between Vestas and targeted customers.
* Understand the customer business case to ensure optimal and winning value propositions.
* Screen and evaluate sales opportunities.
* Prioritize projects and customers for optimal resource use.
* Coordinate the entire sales cycle: from identifying potential customers, quoting, and optimizing deals to negotiating and concluding contracts for the delivery of wind energy projects.
* Ensure effective interdisciplinary collaboration in a matrix organization.
* Coordinate and specify technical, financial, pricing, legal, construction, and service solutions for customers in close cooperation with other Vestas departments.
* Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with stakeholders (existing and potential customers, authorities, utilities).
* Monitor market development and trends.
* Input to the development of Vestas' regional commercial strategy.
Qualifications
* BS/MS degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
* 5 years of experience in sales in the energy industry, machinery, construction, large infrastructure projects, or large manufactured products, or related environment. Experience in sales in the wind energy sector is an asset.
* Solid commercial and legal experience from exposure to/understanding of customers.
* Fluency in English and Spanish.
* Strong drive and business acumen.
* High level of customer focus.
* Strong negotiation skills and the ability to create a win-win situation.
* Ability to build relationships with customers.
* Good technical understanding.
Additional Info
Living in Madrid is required. Availability to travel is required. Travel is expected 1 or 2 days per month.
