An exciting opportunity has arisen as Global Operations Manager for Operational Excellence in the Global Customer Support (GCS) division, reporting to Vice President of Digitalization and Operational Excellence. As a Global Operations Manager, you become part of a team that will drive and steer towards business improvement and optimization through digital technology. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the organization to continuously improve and achieve efficiency as we move forward in the digital journey.

What you will be doing
* Conduct thorough research to understand current digital trends and emerging technologies that can be leveraged to create new opportunities for the company.
* Recruit and onboard a diverse team of skilled professionals with expertise in digital technologies and innovation to drive the department's initiatives.
* Create a clear and compelling identity and vision for the new department, aligning it with the company's overall goals and objectives to ensure it contributes to the broader mission.
* Encourage a culture that promotes creativity, experimentation, and continuous learning, enabling the team to explore and implement innovative digital solutions.
* Work closely with other departments such as IT, marketing, and customer service to ensure seamless integration of digital initiatives and maximize their impact.
* Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of digital initiatives and continuously analyze data to optimize processes and outcomes.
We think you should have
* Bachelor's degree in relevant areas; experience can compensate for formal education.
* Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and manage high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
* Solid knowledge of digital technologies, including software development, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing, to effectively guide the department's projects.
* Ability to communicate complex digital concepts clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels, and to work seamlessly with other departments to drive cross-functional initiatives.
* Maritime experience is an advantage.
* Fluent in English, oral and written. Fluency in Norwegian, oral and written, is an advantage.

Where you will be working: Kongsberg or other relevant Kongsberg Maritime locations in Norway, Poland, Spain.

Our 3000 employees are present in 35 different countries around the world. During the operational lifetime of more than 30,000 installations, we ensure cost-efficient delivery of services, upgrades, and spare parts to secure availability and predictability for our customers.
