Descripción del trabajo
Are you a highly motivated student or early-career professional eager to gain real-world experience in emerging technologies, AI governance, and strategic research? Do you want to work alongside a dynamic investment and innovation firm while contributing to the launch of a new think tank initiative?
Nyakern Nexus is offering an internship designed to provide hands-on exposure to cutting-edge fields, including AI regulation, brain-computer interfaces, femtech, regtech, and digital health innovations. This is not a typical internship with rigid tasks or production goals—it is an opportunity to engage in real projects, explore strategic challenges, and develop high-impact content alongside experienced professionals.
What we do:
* Strategic research & content development: support research into frontier technologies and their regulatory landscapes, including AI governance, healthcare innovation, and digital security.
* Thought leadership & social media strategy: help structure Nyakern Nexus’ positioning by developing engaging content, white papers, and social media narratives on key investment areas.
* Think tank development: contribute to the establishment of a new policy institute focused on AI, governance, and emerging technology ethics.
* Regulatory intelligence & industry mapping: track key developments in global AI regulation, digital health, and compliance frameworks.
* Project support across investment areas: assist in structuring insights and materials related to portfolio companies, investment research, and technology trends.
* Stakeholder engagement: participate in discussions with industry experts, policymakers, and startup founders to support knowledge exchange and partnerships.
Who you are:
* A curious and driven individual interested in AI policy, regulatory innovation, and frontier technologies.
* Strong writing and analytical skills, ideally with experience in research, content creation, or editorial work.
* Someone who thrives in an exploratory, intellectually stimulating environment—more focused on learning and engagement than rigid deliverables.
* A Bachelor student or early-career professional seeking a hands-on experience beyond academic theory.
* Fluency in English is required; additional languages (Spanish, French, or German) are a plus.
* A background in politics, law, business, international relations, or tech policy.
What we want to give you:
* The chance to work on real-world projects that bridge AI, investment, and policy innovation.
* Mentorship and exposure to high-level industry discussions with policymakers, investors, and thought leaders.
* A high degree of autonomy—this internship is designed for proactive individuals eager to explore and contribute.
* The opportunity to shape a pioneering think tank at the forefront of AI governance.
* A flexible, dynamic work environment.
This is an unpaid internship designed to provide valuable professional experience rather than a traditional employment relationship. While there is no requirement to produce specific deliverables, interns will be encouraged to actively engage, contribute ideas, and explore topics aligned with their interests. For the right candidate, this experience may evolve into a more permanent role if one of these initiatives takes off and aligns with our long-term vision—we believe in recognizing and retaining talent when opportunities arise.
If you have a background in politics, law, business, international relations, or life sciences and are eager to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!
