Location: Spain
Scope: IT Procurement Assistant Manager – EU, CoE
JOB PURPOSE: Are you passionate about managing end to end portfolio, gaining wide procurement experience for IT, driving business with direct contribution, then this role is tailored for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Strategic Sourcing: Understand the business needs related to functional areas of spend in IT and bring deep expertise and insights across the value chain and supply base to translate the business requirements into effective future-fit procurement strategies. Develop and implement procurement, run tenders for each of respective sub-portfolios within IT (Network, Infrastructure, Software & Services).
* Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with Global suppliers and vendors for the assigned IT sub-portfolio. Lead internal external performance management and reporting including creation and stewardship of relevant key performance indicators.
* Contract Management: Managing contract’s life cycles end to end.
* Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure the best terms and conditions for the company.
* Budget Management: Oversee IT budgets, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives and financial plans. Deliver against financial targets and other KPIs (including value delivery) as per business plan objectives.
* Cross-functional/functional Collaboration: Work closely with Senior management, IT, finance, and other internal teams to align procurement activities with business goals. Lead a geographically dispersed team to inspire, develop, and support our people, deliver results, and create and promote a healthy business culture.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure Portfolio fundamentals (i.e., data consistency, data insights, recurring stakeholder communications, contracts, etc.) are all put in place. Future proof the portfolio by driving digital and AI approaches, while building technology enablers to help manage selected portfolio and scope.
* Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and identify potential new suppliers.
* Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* Experience: 10 years of experience in procurement or a similar role, preferably within the FMCG sector. Experience in IT/Indirect Procurement is must to have.
* Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
