The Director of Independent Clinics will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing our operations related to independent clinics in Spain and Portugal. This strategic leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the livestock industry and veterinary clinic management.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for Clinics accounts, building strong relationships and understanding their business objectives.
* Conduct regular meetings and check-ins to assess client satisfaction, identify opportunities for improvement, and address any concerns proactively.
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and insights to help them achieve their goals.
Strategic Account Planning:
* Follow the company’s strategy.
* Control of the list of sales margins.
* Develop and implement comprehensive account plans for Clinic clients, outlining strategies to drive growth and maximize value.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute account plans effectively, leveraging resources and expertise to deliver tailored solutions.
* Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
Revenue Growth and Performance:
* Drive revenue growth by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within Clinics.
* Set ambitious revenue targets for Clinics and develop strategies to achieve or exceed them.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
* Lead and inspire a team of account managers and support staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and support as needed.
* Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams to deliver exceptional service to clients.
* Conduct regular training sessions and skill-building workshops to enhance the capabilities of the account management team.
Contract Negotiation and Renewal:
* Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements with Clinic clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability goals.
* Manage contract renewals and extensions, proactively addressing any concerns or issues to secure long-term partnerships.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field. Veterinary licensure is a plus. (Preferable).
Experience: Proven track record of at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within veterinary clinic management.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and drive results in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of livestock management practices, veterinary medicine, and the regulatory landscape in Spain and Portugal.
Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions, manage budgets, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the organization.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
