Sustainability Event Sales Manager Castalla

In line with our ambitious goals, we are searching for an adept Conference Sponsorship and Sales Manager. This crucial role focuses on leading our in-person conference sponsorship and ticket sales initiatives, with secondary responsibilities in event production.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Strategize and manage the acquisition of sponsorships for in-person conferences, cultivating strong relationships with sponsors to enhance sponsorship revenue.
2. Drive ticket sales strategies, employing a mix of marketing approaches to maximize attendance and achieve revenue objectives.
3. Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, ensuring their needs are fully addressed and expectations surpassed from the planning stages through to event execution.
4. Work collaboratively with the administration team to ensure the seamless planning, organizing, execution, and delivery of in-person events, aligning them with sponsorship and sales targets.
5. Develop and execute marketing plans that effectively promote events and attract significant sponsors, including updating website content and launching focused marketing campaigns.
6. Oversee the project management of each event, aiming for flawless execution within set timelines and budgets, while upholding high quality standards.
7. Lead speaker recruitment and management, ensuring speaker selections resonate with sponsor expectations and the overarching themes of sustainability, digitization, blockchain, and the ownership economy.
8. Compile and analyze post-event reports to assess performance, measure sponsor satisfaction, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Demonstrated experience in a B2B environment, with a preference for candidates who have expertise in conference sponsorship sales or related fields.
2. Minimum two years of experience in producing in-person conferences, with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sponsorship and ticket sales targets.
3. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to engage confidently with senior executives.
4. Strong understanding of sustainability, digitization, blockchain, and the ownership economy, with the ability to quickly adapt to new and evolving sectors.
5. Certification and at least one year experience with Hubspot.
6. Highly motivated individual capable of working autonomously or as part of a team, initiating and leading projects with minimal oversight.
7. Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English, both in writing and speaking.
8. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, HubSpot, and scripting technologies, is highly advantageous.
9. While not mandatory, the ability to create compelling content and marketing copy is a plus.
