In this role you will:
* Review, draft, and negotiate EPC contracts for photovoltaic power plant projects.
* Ensure compliance with best practices in EPC contracting.
* Advise on contractual obligations, risk management, and compliance.
* Assist the project team in contract administration, including claims, variations, and risk assessments.
* Support contract execution by ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and legal obligations.
* Work closely with internal project teams and external partners to ensure smooth contract execution.
* Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in international and domestic EPC projects.
* Advise on dispute resolution strategies related to contract performance and claims.
* Develop contract templates and negotiation strategies tailored to the company’s needs for EPC projects.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and external legal counsel to ensure smooth contract execution.
Main requirements for the position:
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EPC contracts, ideally in photovoltaic/renewable energy projects.
* Strong understanding of construction and commercial contracts in the energy sector.
* Experience with international projects and cross-border contract negotiations.
* Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and other industry-standard agreements and their application in EPC agreements.
* Fluency in English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage).
* Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to provide strategic legal advice to project teams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders.
