Ebury is looking to add a full-time permanent Information Security Manager to join our Security team in either our Malaga or Madrid offices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain and continually improve Ebury's ISO27001 certification.
2. Preparation and planning of control testing.
3. Management and monitoring of security key performance and risk indicators.
4. Production of periodic metrics for work with partner banks.
5. Completion of management information to support the governance framework.
6. Management of the Security Risk Register and associated treatment plans.
7. Work with internal stakeholders to develop relationships and improve security culture and practices.
8. Review all documentation across the ISMS Policy Library (policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines).
9. Management of enquiries from external parties including security assessments and audit requests.
10. Assistance and coordination of the Security Working Group.
11. Key stakeholder engagement with the Ebury Technical team.
12. Maintain awareness of emerging trends, risks, regulatory requirements, or standards.
Skills and Requirements
1. Academic qualifications (e.g. degree or MSc) or substantial work experience at a level demonstrating ability.
2. Experience of leading an Information Security Management System.
3. Proficient understanding of security frameworks (e.g. ISO27001, NIST, CIS).
4. Experience of conducting Information Security risk assessments and control testing.
5. Ability to lead and contribute to culture change.
6. Proactive, self-motivated, and a team player.
7. Good communication skills.
8. Organised and attentive to details.
9. Awareness of data protection legislation.
