Summary: Designing, planning, and managing PV Syst engineering aspects of renewable energy solar projects. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy solutions while working on innovative and large scale projects. Main Responsibilities: Be responsible for the performance evaluation of PV Plants using PVSyst software. Verifying initial system layout and gear location specified by the salesperson. Completing system designs for PV projects, including site plans, mechanical racking and attachment plans, single line electrical drawings, specification of BOS location and interconnection details, and labeling. Providing streamlined project information and detailed bill of materials to the procurement managers. Offering engineering support to operations, service, and sales departments as needed, understanding the optimal design applications and design limitations of standard products, and leading the evaluation of alternate products. Working hours: Monday to Friday: 40 hours weekly. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a PV System Engineer in the construction of Photovoltaic Plants of >70 MW size. Bachelor''s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or similar. Competence in AutoCAD and PVSyst is mandatory. Well versed in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi task and manage numerous projects simultaneously. Knowledge of photovoltaic systems, NEC requirements, and construction practices.
