International Sales Manager (EMEA) – Luxury Sector

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic International Sales Manager (EMEA) to drive business growth and brand presence across the world within the luxury sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of luxury markets, strong sales expertise, and a proven track record of developing and managing high-end retail, wholesale, and distribution networks. Michael Aram Inc. corporate headquarters are based in the US while our EU office/ distribution center is located in Valencia, Spain.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the EMEA region, aligned with global company objectives.
* Identify new business opportunities and establish partnerships with high-end retailers, department stores, distributors, and luxury boutiques.
* Drive revenue growth by acquiring new accounts and expanding existing relationships.
* Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
Account & Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, distributors, and luxury retailers.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to maximize profitability while maintaining brand positioning.
* Provide exceptional client service, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Brand Development & Market Positioning
* Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure the brand is effectively represented across all sales channels.
* Support product launches and brand events within the EMEA region.
* Ensure consistency in brand messaging, pricing strategies, and distribution policies.
Operational & Financial Management
* Monitor sales performance, KPIs, and market trends, providing regular reports to senior management.
* Manage budgets and sales forecasts, ensuring financial objectives are met.
* Ensure compliance with regional regulations and company policies.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience in international sales, preferably within the luxury sector (fashion, cosmetics, watches & jewelry, home décor, or similar).
* Proven track record of successfully managing sales across multiple EMEA markets.
* Strong understanding of high-end retail, wholesale, and distribution models.
* Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to develop data-driven sales strategies.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams.
Education & Languages
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, International Commerce, or a related field.
* Fluency in English is required; additional languages (Russian, French, Arabic, German, or Italian) are highly desirable.
Other Requirements
* Willingness to travel across the EMEA region (30-50%+).
* Strong cultural awareness and ability to adapt to different business environments.
* Passion for the luxury industry and an understanding of luxury consumer behavior.
