This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office. We are looking for an experienced User Interface architect and developer to work in an international R&D team. The user interface team is currently composed of 10 people and it is being expanded. This team is in charge of the definition and development of all the user interfaces for the HPE Orchestration R&D products. The team interacts frequently with the backend teams, Product Owners, and Release Managers located in India, Denmark, France, Spain, Germany, and Switzerland, so there is constant English interaction.
Job Family Definition : Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and / or new products used in local, networked, or Internet environments.
Responsibilities :
* Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
Education and Experience Required :
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
* Typically 6-10 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills :
* Microservices architecture experience is required to develop and design according to best practices.
* Docker / Kubernetes, AWS, and cloud deployment experience would be nice to have.
* NodeJS / Express experience would be nice to have.
* Knowledge of Microfrontend technology and Webcomponents would be nice to have.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
