You will be part of the Data team, reporting to the CDO. You will be mainly involved in the Data and Model Governance processes, being in charge of the whole data life cycle according to the internal policies and also maintaining and evolving them with a business point of view. You will collaborate in the Data Growth process so that old and new key data sources are effectively governed and managed.
What You’ll Do
1. Ensure proper governance and use of Equifax data assets and model by working closely with compliance professionals.
2. Increase the efficiency of the Data and Model Governance processes by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement supported by Collibra.
3. Maintenance and implementation of data policies, being a member of the internal Data Committee.
4. Being in charge of the pseudo-anonymization and anonymization process according to internal policy and working closely with DPO in order to design evidence and validate it to ensure the correct performance of the process. Under this approach, develop and implement new use cases according to the needs of the new product developments.
5. Collaborate in the exploration and discovery of new data sources and new opportunities to create value with data, in coordination with the rest of the teams involved (and in particular with Analytics, D&A Innovation, Sales and Product) and according to the strategic priorities defined for it.
6. Contribute to analyzing the materiality and viability of the previous data sources and opportunities and, based on the above, prepare prioritization proposals.
7. Facilitate open collaboration with local and global stakeholders to achieve the goals defined.
8. Give visibility of Data Model Governance milestones using the best channels and reaching the right audience.
What Experience You Need
1. Graduated in Engineering, Math or Statistics for the purpose of connecting theoretical knowledge related to data and models with a functional and business perspective.
2. Ability to lead change management on data and model governance within the company. DAMA certification will be considered positively.
3. Knowledge of Python, R, SQL or similar languages to complement possible initiatives to the improvement of data and model governance & new data acquisition processes.
4. Advanced level of English spoken and written.
5. Ability to create methodologies and roadmaps to implement the principles of data strategy.
6. Ability to work autonomously.
