We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Jira Manager to oversee and manage all JIRA tickets within our project management system. This role requires ensuring that all tickets are properly imported, categorized, and tracked to facilitate smooth workflows and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain Jira workflows, ticket statuses, and issue tracking to ensure seamless project management.
* Ensure that all tickets are correctly imported, classified, and assigned to the appropriate teams.
* Monitor and audit Jira tickets to confirm accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal processes.
* Work closely with Project Managers, developers, and stakeholders to optimize ticketing processes and efficiently resolve issues.
* Generate and analyze reports to track ticket progress, team performance, and project timelines.
* Implement best practices for Jira usage and provide training and support to team members.
* Configure Jira dashboards, filters, and automation rules to optimize workflow efficiency.
* Identify areas for process improvement and recommend system enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience managing JIRA in a professional setting, preferably in a large organization.
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
* Experience in JIRA administration, workflow customization, and reporting tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Jira certification or relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM) is a plus.
* Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
* Familiarity with other Atlassian tools like Confluence and Bitbucket.
