Purpose of the job
* Manage the T&C team
* Collaborate with the V&V manager to define the V&V strategy to be applied in lab and on field
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the QCD commitment of the T&C Work Package
* Pro-actively manages the internal interfaces with Project Engineering, Industrial and Warranty, and the external interfaces with Partners, third parties and Customers.
* Deploys T&C process on the field and ensures it is applied by the T&C team within the project
* Delivers T&C plans, procedures, method statements and coordinates staffing and training of the T&C team.
* Prepares and manages Test & Commissioning works on field - Material and tools, documentation, people, access, logistics
* Ensures the EHS compliance (Zero deviation), reports and anticipates issues
* Manages the T&C team:
* Ensures EHS on field with guidance and support from the Project team member in charge of Project EHS coordination
* Trains and supports people in T&C activities
* Participates in Subsystem Leader, Engineer and Technician assessment of competency
* Manages the tools and organizes accurate calibration
* Anticipates issues and regularly reports to the RC TCM and to the PM on progress, issues and risks on the project (EHS, T&C work, System delivery)
* Ensures all design related issues are reported in the adequate tools, including defect description and associated test context
* Monitors/manages QCD performance delivery (including EHS and Railway safety) of the work package T&C as per customer and solution/system requirements
* Issues the REX on T&C activities, and proposes updates/improvements of the T&C way of working/process/tools and the T&C Reference Library to optimize T&C performance

Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
* Master's degree in engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent experience.
* Good knowledge of English language (read, written, spoken)
Desirable:
* Any other additional language is an asset
Experience
Mandatory:
* More than 5 years of experience in T&C or V&V activities for signaling projects
* Experience of management by Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives
* Deep knowledge of multiple subsystems + system global view
* Interface with customer or partners and internally V&V, Design, Installation stakeholders
* Experience managing projects from T&C point of view
* Experience managing resources in projects of T&C
Desirable:
* Previous team management experiences
* Knowledge of ALSTOM rules and processes
* Quality, EHS and Railway safety knowledge
