Indra Space is looking for Space Systems Engineers to join our Flight Segment team. You will work defining complex commercial and defence space missions that push the limits of current small-satellite technology. The ideal candidates for this position are engineers with curiosity towards understanding technology, with attention to detail and comfortable working independently.

* Responsibilities
Read through space and aeronautical standards to capture requirements.
Generate and maintain requirements, including traceability analysis.
Identify and manage internal and external interfaces.
Prepare and execute system end-to-end tests.
Communicate and iterate with engineers in a multi-disciplinary team (antenna engineers, electronics engineers, thermomechanical engineers, etc.).
Participate in milestone reviews with customers and suppliers.
Generate detailed engineering documentation (design reports, test procedures, etc.).
Participate and lead project bids and generate relevant documentation (RFQ, RFP, RFI).
* Skills
English fluency on a professional level (at least Cambridge C1 or equivalent)
Engineering education to at least master’s degree within the fields of aerospace, telecommunications and/or electrical engineering.
Understanding of the elements that define a satellite mission (i.E., subsystems, payloads, ground segment) with detailed knowledge of at least one of them.
Experience with requirement management tools (DOORS or similar)
Experience with test tracking tools.
* Bonus points
Full lifecycle hands-on experience in a satellite mission Phase 0 to Phase E.
Experience with MBSE management tools (Enterprise Architect or similar)
Basic understanding of orbital mechanics of a space mission.
Knowledge of satellite communications systems (i.E., link budgets analysis, transmitter and receiver characteristics, EMC...).
Hands-on experience applying ESA ECSS or similar standards.
Knowledge of air traffic management standards (ICAO, ARINC...).
Spanish fluency on an intermediate level (at least B2 or equivalent).
