At Experis, we are looking to add to our consulting projects department a person with experience as a Security Research Engineer with a high level of English. Role & Responsibilities: Daily activities include: collaborating with external third party labs, globally located engineers and program managers, BU DE community inclusive of Dev test/QA test teams to surgically assess feasibility of certification assurance/completion. Work within a collaborative team environment for entire lifecycle of certification process this includes: technical documentation writing/development, network analysis; business analysis/feasibility studies. Manage and oversee the certification processes for a given certification. Develop comprehensive project plan for managing offers requiring specific testing (e.g., penetration testing), including procurement of demo units. Present program status at commit landmarks and Program meetings Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget and meeting key requirements. Create and maintain comprehensive project tracking documentation. Responsible for risk assessment and alternatives. Manages projects of moderate to significant complexity. Minimum Qualifications: o Must be fluent in English and possess proficiency in either Spanish or Dutch as a second language. o Government policy and technical expertise in the following areas: 2 3 years (minimum) of Common Criteria and familiarity of EU Common Criteria (EUCC), o 6 or more years industry experience, o Working knowledge of Cisco technologies (CCNA, CCNP or similar Cisco certifications preferred). o Working knowledge of networking technologies including network security/IDS/IPS, network access, routing, switching, datacenter/cloud computing, cryptography/encryption. o Must be self motivated, self starter, demonstrated ability in IT Networking and Security. o Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills. o Ability to architect and document Cisco product solutions and translate into certification requirements. o Good technical writing skills and ability to draft sophisticated engineering documentation. o Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills. The ability to work optimally and add value as a team member is critical. o Apply security engineering knowledge and expertise to solving problems within certification projects. o Deep technical comprehension/knowledge preferred both deploying and administering Cisco products and networks. o Communicate and interface globally with all levels of management including but not limited to development engineering, product management, product marketing and development test engineers; external vendors as the need arises. o Run multiple tasks concurrently with minimal direction. o Willing to travel.
