We want to get on board a Senior Project Procurement Manager who is globally responsible for the full set of procurement processes within the allocated customer projects. Main Responsibilities Integration of the procurement function in customer bid and execution projects along the project life cycle as ''Sub Project Manager Procurement'' Establish proper sourcing processes, control all Procurement resources and activities in the project and inform all involved within Procurement to deliver optimum impact for the business (Procurement plan, target costing) relating to budget, availability, timeline and quality. Apply Procurement regulations as per Compliance, organization standards and PM@Siemens. Identify, involve, integrate and manage all relevant procurement functions for a customer bid or project (i.e. Global Category Management, Supplier Quality Management, Regional Procurement, etc.) Act as prime interface to/for the bids or projects key business partners and procurement (incl. milestone meetings, risk workshops, kick off meetings, project related procurement reviews, escalations, etc.) Align schedules (i.e. project schedule vs. procurement specific schedules for RFQs, negotiations, supplier selection, deliveries, etc.) Align terms & conditions and ensure transfer of the relevant customer contract terms & conditions to supplier offers and contracts Analyze procurement and supplier related risks and set/manage respective mitigation measures Prepare and run supplier RFQs and negotiations (price/commercial/contractual negotiations) Lead complex contractual and price negotiations and/or support the specialist buyers responsible for particular material fields (in particular those not covered by any Commodity Management) to secure project targets with optimum conditions on the basis of ToCO. Prepare, update and manage relevant procurement documentation Skills & Capabilities Strong background in procurement and negotiation skills (7+ years) Proven experience in project management activities (strong time and dependencies management) Anticipates problem areas and associated risk levels. Makes recommendations and leads the implementation of corrective and/or preventive measures for complex issues that cross organizational boundaries.
