Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate logistics' scenarios and costs, risks of delays, damages, and others; and propose contingency plans and mitigation strategies based on the documentation provided by the different involved teams, suppliers, and authorities.
* Monitor the logistic schedule of the key components and their project-related activities, detailing their sequence of implementation in coordination with the relevant teams involved.
* Collaborate within the Sourcing team by monitoring suppliers' meeting DDP obligations, tracking shipments, and verifying delivery schedules align with contractual agreements.
* Address delays or non-compliance issues such as damages claims.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to confirm Site Readiness for incoming deliveries, confirming unloading capabilities, and ensuring smooth handover of materials.
* Receive Supplier inventory and manage internally, as well as metrics for invoicing from Suppliers.
* When needed, be responsible for the management of the logistics agents: forwarders, transport agencies, customs brokers, etc., including the requesting of proposals, negotiation, contracting and establishment of strong relationships.
* Support the relevant teams with suppliers and subcontractors during all phases of the project: during/after contractual negotiations, construction, commissioning, etc.
* Tracks, analyzes, and reports about the progress and performance of the involved logistics agents.
* Generates knowledge and lessons learned overviews in order to optimize the cost-logistics strategy for procurement and construction.
Requirements
* Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or Economics.
* Proven experience in the area of Logistics, preferably within the renewables or construction industry.
* Business fluency in Portuguese and English. Spanish is a plus.
