Purpose and Scope:
Assisting teachers in creating a well-organized classroom environment involves instructing and supervising students. The role requires preparing instructional materials, setting up classrooms, and assisting children during lessons and activities. The incumbent may also provide support to special needs students or coordinate specific projects as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing instructional materials and assisting with lesson planning
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Supervising and assisting children during lessons and activities

* Coordinating specific projects and programs as assigned
Requirements:
* Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university
* 2 years of college (minimum of 48 semester hours) from an accredited institution
* Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment Test and 1 year of experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
* CPR and First Aid certification
* 5 years of law enforcement or security supervisory experience
