ROLE SUMMARY:
Sotogrande International School is seeking an exceptional Science Teacher to join their passionate science team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Demonstrate and engage students in science as a subject, both inside and outside the classroom
* Foster an environment that encourages student participation and teamwork
* Actively participate in and contribute to the school's extracurricular programs
* Inspire and motivate students through creative and hands-on lessons and after school clubs
* Provide constructive formative feedback to students and parents, updating them on learning progress
* Engage in continuous professional development to stay up to date with educational trends and scientific breakthroughs
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* A degree in Chemistry, Science or a related subject
* Proven experience teaching Chemistry and/or Science
* Strong understanding of child-centered teaching methodologies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive school culture
* A genuine passion for education and a commitment to fostering creativity in students
* Enthusiastic about experiential learning and innovative teaching practices
* Open-minded and adaptable to new ideas and approaches in teaching and learning
