The company are a Global SaaS Vendor with a reputation for being a market leader with award winning solutions. With over 30k employees, and average employee tenure of 8.5 years and a client list of the most recognisable names, you will be in good hands. Their solutions help companies navigate the complex corporate legal, financial and compliance landscape with offerings around legal, tax, trade, reporting and compliance to name a few. You will lead an established and stable account management teams selling in to corporate customers with turnover of between £50m - £500m.
For this role you will need to be a strategic and results-driven manager with experience leading and growing account management teams, drive revenue growth within their corporate accounts. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record of successfully leading a team and growing a portfolio of high-value accounts, exceeding sales targets, and cultivating strong customer relationships. You are a customer-centric leader with exceptional communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
You will need to have lead teams with a consultative sales processes, comfortable dealing with larger AOV and strategic account management. The team will manage accounts throughout EMEA and generally well-known brands with multiple stakeholders in each client. And will focus on cross-selling and upselling in to existing customers whilst expanding the base. They will be selling a strong portfolio of industry leading software and information solutions where the solutions are essential to companies operating.
Role Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive account management strategy to drive new customer acquisition, expand customer relationships, and renewal sales
* Oversee the development and execution of strategic account plans to achieve sales targets, maximise revenue from existing customers, and expand the customer base.
* Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing account management team, fostering a positive and results-oriented environment through sales process excellence.
* Closely monitor, analyse, and report on key performance metrics, including sales targets, renewal rates, and customer satisfaction, to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
* Foster strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders, building trust and credibility through consistent communication and exceptional service.
* Participate in key customer business meetings to ensure alignment with customer goals and objectives, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business.
* Partner effectively with solution consultants to develop tailored solutions that precisely meet customer needs and requirements.
* Collaborate with the sales team and the Partnerships & Alliances team to develop and execute go-to-market campaigns with strategic partners.

Experience Required
* 3+ years experience managing a sales team within a SaaS environment selling into Mid-Market corporate customers.
* A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional product and service through deep understanding and long-term partnerships with the Software technology customers.
* Proven ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams to achieve ambitious goals. Provides clarity, energy, and drive for success.
* Demonstrated ability to develop & execute a strategic account management process that focuses on building and maintaining relationships with key customers to ensure their satisfaction, retention, and drive business growth, leading to customer loyalty, advocacy and long-term revenue.
* Strong grasp of sales processes and strategies, with the ability to develop compelling value propositions that address customer use cases with solutions from the product portfolio.
* Proven ability to negotiate complex terms and conditions and close agreements for the sale and license of software and technology, including services.
* Ability to analyse market data, feedback, and sales performance to inform strategies and decisions.
* Proven ability to find solutions to difficult or complex issues by defining the problem, determining the cause of the problem, identifying/prioritising/selecting alternatives and then implementing the chosen solution.
* Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
