Ideal candidates will have a background in ship management (Superintendent, Vessel Manager, or Fleet Manager) and hands-on experience with drydock planning and execution.We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a background in superintendency and vessel management, who has successfully transitioned into a client-focused sales role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the challenges and requirements of offshore superintendents, enabling them to effectively assess client needs and provide tailored solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & SalesIdentify and engage key decision-makers in ship management, offshore operators, and shipyards.Develop and execute a sales plan focused on vessel retrofits and offshore mobilizations.Attend industry events (e.g., OTC, Posidonia, Nor-Shipping) to expand GLO Marine’s footprint.Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure.Act as Account Manager, making sure we understand client needs and client is satisfied throughout the processTechnical & Commercial AdvisoryProvide technical insights on fuel efficiency retrofits, LNG system upgrades, and FPSO conversions.Assist clients in EPC feasibility assessments and cost-benefit analyses.Ensure proposals align with IMO regulations and decarbonization trends.Drydock & Retrofit SupportLeverage drydock experience to advise clients on cost-effective vessel upgrades.Assist in scheduling and executing vessel modifications to minimize downtime.Support shipowners in retrofit budgeting and operational logistics.Ideal Candidate ProfileBackground & Experience5–10 years of experience in ship management, vessel operations, or ship repair. Previous role as Technical Superintendent, Fleet Superintendent, or Vessel Manager. Experience managing drydock projects and vessel retrofits. Strong network in shipowners, offshore operators, and shipyards. Knowledge of IMO regulations, alternative fuels, and marine EPC services.Skills & AttributesProven sales & negotiation skills with a track record of closing contracts. Ability to translate technical knowledge into commercial opportunities. Excellent communication & presentation skills to engage senior decision-makers. Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities. Willing to travel extensively for client meetings and industry events.
