The overall responsibility of the Commercial Excellence Specialist (f / m / x) is to drive the best practices for Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) and develop organizational capabilities in key areas like Sales Incentivization, CRM, CPQ, Territory Planning as well as Sales KPI’s and Targets. The scope of this role includes different regions in EMEA and APAC and will focus on our Business Unit Sports Medicine. Activities will be planned and executed based on Market & Competitive Analyses, Sales Performance Analysis and Measurements as well as Business Insights & Intelligence and cover all areas that will have a direct positive impact on the P&L of the business. Furthermore, you will be providing a framework of Business Dashboards and other automated tools for the Commercial Leadership Team to drive the business.
Location : Preferably you are located close to one of our commercial sites in Germany (Hamburg, Munich) or Spain (Barcelona).
What will you be doing?
* Lead commercial excellence initiatives within our Business Unit Sports Medicine to ultimately drive sales productivity, share gain and profitable growth.
* Support cluster specific sales operations insights and indicators to advise on strategies, tactics and market models to form recommendations on sales and marketing opportunities.
* Lead productivity analyses to maximize field force ROI, territory potential, and align customers, account and product priority.
* Design and own the process of sales force incentive plans as well as reward & recognition programs.
* Collaborate with Commercial Leadership, Regional CoEs and enabling functions (Regulatory, Finance, Legal, Compliance, etc.) to drive business improvements.
What will you need to be successful?
University Degree in relevant subject (e.g. Engineering, Economics, Marketing) or comparable professional training / education.
* 8 years of experience in similar roles in Marketing / Commercial Excellence / Consulting in Medical Devices.
Strong expertise in Marketing, Sales Incentive Management, CRM and CPQ.
Relevant experience in Commercial Operations in a medical device company (Territory Planning, Dashboards, Reporting, Sales KPI’s and Targets).
Successfully demonstrated impact in driving Commercial Excellence processes and executing Commercial Excellence projects in a matrix environment, as well as the management of complex, customer-facing commercial projects.
Experience in data analysis, modelling, evaluation and reporting.
Demonstrated success with process orientation and effectiveness.
Very good skills in presentation, communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking and working in international teams.
Willingness to travel (up to 40%).
Beneficial :
