Cyber Security Data Privacy Manager
The Opportunity
As a Data Privacy Manager in a Cybersecurity area, you would become a part of the Data Protection and Privacy team where you will play a pivotal role in developing the strategy for evolving the Data Privacy team.
As a member of our team in the GDS office in Malaga, Spain, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on the most interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches.
You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Implementation of privacy solutions and advising clients on data privacy challenges.
* Overseeing performance tracking, career advancement, skill development, and team budget management.
* Business development tasks such as client relationship building and leading DPP projects.
* Management reporting including utilization tracking, engagement planning, and training progress.
* Keeping track of industry trends, managing project risks, and acting as a subject matter expert.
Skills and Attributes for Success
We seek experienced managers skilled in privacy compliance and technology to independently and collaboratively handle various business processes.
The future Privacy Manager will partake in cross-functional initiatives, collaborating across multiple international and local domains.
This role involves global interactions with project managers and partners.
To qualify for the role you must have
* 5+ years of experience in data privacy projects implementation.
* 3+ years of experience in privacy team management.
* Experience in planning privacy projects, defining timelines, and effort estimation.
* General knowledge of all privacy-related processes: Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), Register of Processing Activities (ROPA), Data Subjects Rights, Privacy Audits, Incident Management, Privacy Policies and Procedures, Data Mapping, Data Classification, Data Retention, etc.
* Advanced English (verbal and written) min. C1.
Ideally, you’ll also have
* Relevant education and certifications in Cybersecurity, IT, or Legal fields.
* Hands-on experience with data privacy management tools.
