Position Summary
ON-SITE ROLE Responsible for independently applying advanced scheduling and planning techniques and analysis within a project environment.
Primary Responsibilities
* Perform all aspects of planning/scheduling
* Monitor job progress according to schedules
* Coordinate with material expediters concerning critical items of supply
* Participate in expenditure forecasts
* Perform schedule analysis
Location will be based from Worley projects offices in Cartagena (Spain).
Qualifications
* Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience (if no school)
* Required knowledge of planning programs according to job site or compatible
* Planner Engineer to work on a variety of projects within a Portfolio Projects at client site.
* Required previous work and site experiences in Petrochemical, Chemical and/or Oil & Gas Industries.
* Able to use Primavera P6 proficiently as the main tool to develop project schedules and reports.
* Main activities include planning, scheduling, and reporting project progress according to Project Management/Portfolio Projects requirements.
* Able to identify and analyze project requirements and proactively advise Project Management on any critical paths identified in each individual project to comply with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction parts and overall at Portfolio level to mitigate risks in project development optimizing activities according to MPP vs Workload.
* Able to provide Project Management with reports/status of project progress and build MPP vs Workload as required.
* Able to interact with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams to identify and analyze project requirements and any risks associated with project execution.
* Native/Fluent in Spanish, preferably with English fluency.
