A professional who is driven, well informed, and full of energy is needed to join our Spanish team and help us develop our Biosimilar business in Spain.
Area of Responsibilities
1. Sales goals: Achieve and exceed the assigned sales target.
2. Ensuring the availability of company products in healthcare institutions by shaping and promoting optimal offer of the company.
3. Generating demand for company products at key customers in the assigned territory through the execution of tender contracts (pull through) or private sales.
4. To generate loyalty through regular doctor visits defined in the doctors' list.
5. Responsible for product detailing and discussions with the customers to keep them up to date with the latest scientific and practical information regarding our biosimilar portfolio.
6. Implementation of marketing strategies: Effective management of the territory through the optimal selection of activities for the management of healthcare institutions, doctors, pharmacists, and medical staff taking into account the knowledge of the decision-making areas visited or prescribing behavior of physicians.
7. Creation and implementation of plans of visits and other activities for the implementation of the marketing strategy.
8. Possession and increasingly used knowledge about the specifics of the territory and the activities of competitors.
9. Securing company interests in the implementation of tenders in a selected group of health care facilities.
10. Cooperation with key customers: Leading or supporting the dialogue or commercial recommendation in accordance with the current pricing and policy.
11. Ability to familiarize customers with a reliable range of company and adapt it to client's needs and local conditions.
12. Immediate transfer of all the necessary information about the required actions to employees of the company.
13. Preparing and reviewing trading strategy recommendations: Planning and conducting effective meetings with clients based on possessed knowledge about them.
14. Professional execution of the strategy of the company, the sales model visits and promotion strategy in order to maximize sales effectiveness.
15. Cooperation with trade partners: Conduct or support discussions or trading recommendations in accordance with the applicable pricing and trading policy, in order to maximize promotional potential.
16. Ability for reliable familiarization of customers with company products and adapt it to customer needs and local conditions.
17. Immediate sharing of all necessary information about actions needed to company Group employees.
18. Communication: Providing legal content in the external and internal communication.
19. Keeping communication with good manners.
20. Adapting business language or jargon sales to the receiver of information, particularly communication outside the company.
21. Avoiding unfortunate communication content, unclear or ambiguous.
22. Avoiding situations where bystanders could be the recipient of the information intended for the caller or callers.
23. Disclosure of confidential information, including technical, commercial, or organizational disclosure of which could harm the company.
24. Promotional materials: Effective disposing of promotional materials in accordance with the assumptions of promotional cycles and registering this in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and procedures of the company.
25. Compliance: The employee is required to perform the tasks entrusted to him and follow external business relations and in relations with colleagues in a way that fully respects the rules of local law and internal policies and regulations of the company.
26. This results in the requirement of holding and continuously updating knowledge in the field of pharmaceutical law, policies and regulations of the company.
27. Team collaboration: Effective cooperation with other representatives of the company in the range of information sharing and conducting joint projects in order to maximize performance.
28. Proper and timely execution of tasks assigned by the supervisor.
29. Planning, Reporting & Data base update, & Sales Analysis: Reliable and timely planning and reporting activities and results, updating database in accordance with the company requirements.
30. Observation and analysis of competitors' actions and reporting in this area.
31. Pharmacovigilance-Reporting: The Biocon employee should follow and apply within 24h the standard Biocon PV approach if becoming aware of adverse events/side effects and/or incidents including lack of efficacy for Biocon products.
32. Initial report should reach the Pharmacovigilance department within 24 hours.
33. The Biocon employee shall report any information received about the product quality issue for Biocon products to the relevant QA (Quality Assurance) department of Biocon.
Skills & Competencies:
1. Technical & Scientific knowledge in Oncology, Diabetes, or Immunology (desirable experience in Biologics / Biosimilars).
2. Focus on objectives - the development and initiation of activities; achievement and improvement of individual goals.
3. Making the right decisions based on analysis - analytical mindset.
4. High level of responsibility, cooperation with people, stress resistance.
5. Demonstrating passion for the company; acting with integrity.
6. High level knowledge of pricing rules, strategy and profit business offers preparations for Hospitals and Key customers.
7. Highly developed presentation skills / Ability to moderate group discussions.
8. Willingness to travel over a large geographical area / Good cultural manners.
9. Well-organized skills and pragmatism.
10. Ability to establish long-term relationships.
11. Strong Communication Skills in Spanish & Good Command of English is an advantage.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Pharmacy/graduation in any Science stream, Masters in Pharmacy/post-graduation in science stream.
Experience in pharma environment on similar positions with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Oncology, Diabetes, or Immunology (desirable experience in Biologics / Biosimilars).
Knowledge of therapeutic areas, legal and pricing regulations and other specified and required to undertake this job position.
