The EU Hardlines Marketing/CX team is seeking a Marketing/CX Business Intelligence Engineer to help accelerate the team's efforts to improve and automate EU Stores onsite CX feature development.
We seek a quick learner who can familiarize themselves with a fast-paced environment, build relationships with cross-functional and cross-category teams, and assume ownership for distinct domains on the EU Marketing/CX roadmaps. The right candidate will be flexible, self-starting, action and results-oriented.
You must have a high capacity to learn and be curious, adapting to the latest changes in the business, systems, tools, and techniques for extracting, processing, analyzing, modeling, and acting on data.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly analytical, consistently think in terms of automation, and intensely detail-oriented with a strong customer focus to drive impact in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
The ideal candidate shows good judgment in making technical trade-offs between short-term and long-term business needs and demonstrates the ability to drive issues to completion.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Applying your deep analytic and business intelligence skills to extract meaningful insight from large and complicated data sets.
* Engaging business stakeholders in constructive dialogues to convert marketing problems into logic problems that can be solved with data, statistics, and/or scripting.
* Designing, developing, and implementing scalable, automated infrastructure for data extraction, processing, computation, and delivery.
* Designing, developing, and implementing analytical models to underpin customer-facing experiences using statistical methodologies and techniques.
* Communicating analytical outputs to stakeholders with a focus on making clear insights, model assumptions, tradeoffs, etc.
* Building an expert understanding of technologies and techniques required to build analytical solutions in the Amazon data ecosystem. Upskilling in new areas as required for different analytical solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
* Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
* Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
* Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
* Experience in the data/BI space.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance, or equivalent quantitative field.
* Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
* Experience in data mining, ETL, etc., and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
* Experience in statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
