About the Position
Job Summary
The Sales Applications Specialist will be responsible for sales, promotion, and technical support to the customers in order to guarantee the right performance of both reagents and instruments, providing our customers with solutions that adapt to their changing needs, creating a relationship of trust that will bring value to the Company in the medium and long term.
Key Accountabilities
1. Assure the Compliance with Ethical Code.
2. Promote Werfen solutions and advise customers to improve lab organization.
3. Focus actions on "Value Selling".
4. Perform demonstrations and build trust in our solutions.
5. Keep clients updated on new techniques, by providing product information and organizing special visits.
6. Train customers and ensure correct performance of the solutions.
7. Provide troubleshooting for technical inquiries.
8. Follow-up with clients looking for new opportunities for growth.
9. Control the level of service offered by the different departments of the Company in the assigned accounts.
10. Responsible for a budget and should look for business opportunities.
11. Responsible for the technical solution of the zGP.
12. Responsible for the technical interpretation of the tender documents and the preparation of the technical documents (in collaboration with KAM and B.Unit).
13. Resolve product incidents at a technical level in coordination with specialists from the Business Unit and the manufacturer companies. Installation of equipment, in coordination with the Technical Service.
14. Organize special visits with Product Managers.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
1. Experience: Minimum three years’ experience in sales and/or marketing within the healthcare industry.
2. Comprehensive knowledge in life sciences.
3. Language: Specific to country and role’s needs.

Has a deep knowledge of the market and the competition and keeps this information updated to engage and reinforce good communication amongst Werfen’s representatives and Clients. Establishes relations with customers based on trust and confidence.
3. Communication: Speaks clearly, concisely, and is compelling in negative or positive scenarios; listens to people and gets feedback, participates in meetings constructively, and is skilled in public speaking. His/her strategic vision and deep knowledge of the market allow him/her to foresee changing circumstances and develop new plans and ideas when situations change. Accomplishes instructions, is responsive to his/her manager’s directives, suggestions, and guidance, assumes accountability for his/her own actions, maintains commitments, and meets work delivery deadlines on time or notifies alternative plans.
