Akens\Nordburg is looking for a Managing Director Spain (m/f/d) based in Madrid for the Spanish subsidiary of good stablished German company leader within its sector. The professional will be responsible for P&L, and the strategic and operational management of the company in Spain ensuring sustainable business growth, profitability, and alignment with the company's global vision.Main Responsibilities:Define and implement the business strategy in the assigned markets, in alignment with the headquarters in GermanyManage and optimize the financial performance of the subsidiary, ensuring the achievement of revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency objectivesLead, motivate, and develop the management team and employees, fostering a high performance and committed cultureTake direct responsibility for sales and lead the commercial team to maximize growth and market penetrationDrive company growth through the development of new clients, markets, and business opportunitiesEstablish and strengthen relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and relevant stakeholdersEnsure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards in all operationsOversee purchasing, sales, logistics, administration, and finance areas, ensuring a high level of quality and serviceWork closely with the headquarters in Germany to align the subsidiary with the company's global objectivesCoordinate with the headquarters and other group companies in the region to ensure synergies and strategic alignment.RequirementsTechnical or commercial university degree or equivalent qualificationExperience in a global corporate structure, with a strong understanding of cross-cultural collaboration, and experience with European, preferably German, companiesExtensive experience in sales, as well as market development and expansionProven experience as a Managing Director or in a senior executive role, with a track record of driving business success and growthFluency in Spanish and English; knowledge of German is a plusExperience in financial management and P&L controlCommercial and negotiation skills to establish and consolidate strategic relationshipsAvailability to travel frequentlyWhat we offerOpportunity to lead a key subsidiary within a well-established company in the sectorAutonomy to develop and implement growth and expansion strategiesDynamic and multicultural environmentCompetitive compensation package, including fixed salary, bonus and company carIf you have the experience and vision to take on this challenge, we look forward to your application!
