Founded in 2017 and currently present in 45 properties worldwide, LUX Tennis specializes in providing personalized tennis management for their luxury resort partners.
LUX Tennis oversees a repertoire of former and current ATP/WTA level tennis professionals, padel tennis, and pickleball professionals, coaching private clients, VIPs, and celebrities, individually and at luxury resorts globally. In-depth knowledge, education, performance improvement, and fun are perfectly mixed and matched for tennis, padel, and pickleball lovers globally, whether they are on holidays at luxury destinations or at their private residence.
Apart from offering professional coaching and exclusive tennis and padel programs, LUX Tennis hosts around 30 LT Star Events annually. These events showcase top tennis stars such as Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Mary Pierce, Tommy Haas, and Garbiñe Muguruza at their partnered resorts.
About the job
We are looking for an Event Manager to work closely with our CEO, reporting directly to him, and play a key role in our event and marketing department. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, blending event management with creative marketing initiatives to enhance LUX Tennis’s global presence and partnerships.
Responsibilities
Celebrity Tennis Events at Partner Hotels
* Coordinate event details with tennis celebrities and their managers.
* Negotiate agreements between managers and hotel partners to finalize deals.
* Develop tennis programs, pricing structures, and schedules tailored to each event.
* Create a timeline and anticipate needs to ensure smooth operations.
* Collaborate with the LUX Tennis team, especially the Social Media Manager, to announce and promote events.
Establishing New Partnerships
* Initiate discussions with potential event partners and prepare detailed reports.
* Propose and plan events with new partners to expand LUX Tennis’s reach and host larger-scale events.
Major Events with Tennis Celebrities and Charity
* Organize one flagship event per year featuring tennis celebrities in one LUX Tennis hotel.
* Coordinate between all stakeholders and provide detailed reporting.
* Negotiate partnerships, manage scheduling, and deliver financial projections.
On-Site Hotel Events & Members
* Anticipate and create special event needs at hotel partners (e.g., Easter, Christmas).
* Anticipate and create events for our exclusive members.
* Work with hotel staff and on-site coaches to implement activities effectively.
Marketing & sales missions
* Make sure the event is promoted from the hotel side (website, on-site flyers etc).
* Work on the marketing plan for LUX Tennis to promote the events.
* Possibility to find sponsors for the events, brand clothes, or any other potential partners.
Skills
* Organizational Skills: ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills.
* Proficiency in English: fluent proficiency is required, in both written and spoken forms. Additional language is a plus.
* Skills in managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and ensuring events stay within financial constraints.
* Attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and work in a dynamic environment.
* Problem-solving.
Qualification/Experience
* Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management/Marketing or Communication.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in event planning, coordination, or project management.
* Understanding of marketing principles to effectively promote events and attract attendees.
* Experience in luxury environment is a plus.
* Experience in social media management is a plus.

* Type of contract: Self-employed/Freelancer.
* Working time: Full-time position 35h per week.
* Location: Remote position (based in Europe).
