TGRC is partnering with a Spanish IPP in the search for an International Development Manager to join their global HQ in Madrid.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development of projects, including land acquisition, site selection, preliminary design, and DA processes.
* Identify potential development sites and manage feasibility analysis and due diligence to identify environmental, network connectivity, and land constraints.
* Originate new projects and progress the development of our Client's portfolio through a structured project plan.
* Coordinate development approvals and EPBC and oversee land acquisition for new projects.
* Provide regular progress reports against project plans, reporting to project stakeholders and executive management.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal project teams, external stakeholders, and the local community.
Requirements:
* Plus 3 years in a Development role within the utility-scale renewable energy sector.
* Experience managing large-scale Solar and Wind international projects from conception through to approvals.
* Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, Finance, or a related field.
* Experience managing and developing project teams.
* Ability to identify and manage risks associated with renewable energy projects.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and building strong working relationships.
* Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and work in a fast-paced environment.
