Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ICQA Area Manager to join our Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) team at Amazon. As a key member of our fulfillment center operations network, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of hourly Associates in inventory control, quality assurance, and problem-solving operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and supervise a team of hourly Associates, including Team Leads and Data Analysts, to ensure effective inventory control and quality assurance operations.
2. Support safety programs and compliance to maintain a safe work environment for all associates.
3. Coordinate inventory control, quality assurance, and problem-solving operations in accordance with network strategies and SOX compliance.
4. Conduct shift planning and forecasting, assigning and directing work to optimize productivity.
5. Ensure KPIs are reviewed regularly and perform quality analysis on behaviors or processes impacting inventory integrity and customer experience.
6. Gain expertise in key fulfillment center process paths and exception handling to drive continuous improvement.
7. Support interviewing, training, and developing talent, including hiring the next generation of managers.
A Day in the Life:
You'll work shifts at one of our fulfillment centers, overseeing inventory control, quality assurance, and problem-solving operations. Your day starts with a team huddle, reviewing previous shift performance, setting daily goals, and addressing ongoing issues. Throughout your shift, you'll conduct inventory discrepancies analysis, oversee receiving issue resolution, and coach team members on accuracy improvement. You'll analyze data, identify trends, and collaborate with central teams to improve processes. Quick decision-making is essential to keep operations running smoothly.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in operations management.
2. Relevant experience in performing data analysis and understanding data sets and tools.
3. Proficient in the local language and English, both spoken and written.
4. Advanced MS Office suite user, especially Excel.
5. Previous experience leading teams.
