By leveraging our strong brand and customer loyalty, the E-Commerce team in Spain is responsible for driving Dyson’s growth via the online shopping experience.
About the role
As our Marketplace Manager, you will:
1. Set the strategic direction and operational processes for marketplace management, overseeing monthly forecasting and ensuring target achievement.
2. Manage daily site maintenance tasks such as pricing, merchandising, product descriptions, and promotions to optimize the customer journey.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute marketing plans, aligning campaigns and sellout activities with category objectives.
4. Plan and execute digital campaigns across various channels, including budget management and performance optimization.
5. Provide regular sellout analysis, optimizations, and commentary, leveraging internal insights to drive continuous improvement.
6. Identify new marketplace opportunities and expand existing partnerships to maximize revenue growth.
7. Manage relationships with external marketplace partners, negotiating volume and revenue targets to drive growth.
8. Own the marketplace P&L, deriving insights and taking actions to improve commercial outcomes.
9. Coordinate with finance and supply chain teams to ensure stock availability aligns with forecasted demand.
10. Lead discussions and drive outcomes with cross-functional teams to align on sales and campaign plans, optimizing marketplace performance.
About you
To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:
1. At least four years of e-commerce experience, with previous marketplace management and negotiation skills.
2. Strong commercial acumen with attention to detail, capable of managing a P&L and analysing financial data.
3. Proficient in digital media management, including budget responsibility and trading experience to optimise performance.
4. Excellent analytical skills, able to translate data into actionable insights and drive strategic decisions.
5. Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a hands-on approach and a results-driven mindset.
6. Proven track record of building strong internal and external relationships, collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
7. Experienced in managing and prioritising tasks in a fast-paced, agile environment.
8. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute plans to achieve business objectives.
9. Familiarity with marketplace best practices and a passion for staying updated on industry trends.
10. Strong leadership and people management skills, capable of leading a mid-sized team to success.
