Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Light and / or Sound Technician located in IBIZA, Balearic Islands, Spain. The Light and Sound Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lighting and sound equipment for various events. This role involves coordinating with event planners, performers, and other staff to ensure the smooth execution of events. Daily tasks may include configuring lighting systems, setting up sound systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly throughout events.
Qualifications
* Experience with configuring and operating lighting systems
* Experience with setting up and operating sound systems
* Technical troubleshooting skills for lighting and sound equipment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills to collaborate with event planners and performers
* Relevant certifications or coursework in technical theater, electronics, or sound engineering is a plus
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
* Physically able to handle equipment and perform manual tasks
