Role overview
As a Security Architect, you will be part of the Architecture team within the Product Development business area, reporting to the Head of Architecture. You will design and maintain the company’s security systems, ensuring they meet the required security and quality standards for our products.
What you'll do
1. Perform risk assessments of system architecture for compliance with security best practices.
2. Develop security guidelines and compliance requirements for Ilkari’s multi-tenant systems.
3. Integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
4. Implement, maintain, and improve best practices of operational security controls.
5. Prepare and deliver security awareness and training activities to Engineering teams.
6. Develop and implement security solutions for network, cloud, and on-premises infrastructure.
7. Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans on infrastructure components.
8. Implement security controls and monitoring solutions to protect against unauthorized access and attacks.
What are we looking for
Technical skills
1. Experience architecting solutions within cloud and on-prem environments.
2. Knowledge of cloud-native authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, etc.).
3. Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management.
4. Proficiency in service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services.
5. Familiarity with CIS hardening methodologies and their application.
6. Experience securing physical infrastructures and networks.
7. Technical writing experience.
Soft skills
1. Ability to work independently and self-motivate.
2. Strong communication skills to effectively articulate security risks and recommendations.
3. Strategic thinking to drive security vision and influence corporate strategy.
4. Crisis decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Relevant experience
1. Hands-on experience with cloud and on-prem security architecture.
2. Experience with enterprise applications, security certifications, and regulatory compliance.
3. Proven track record in improving cybersecurity infrastructure and proactive threat management.
Education
A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is preferred.
