We are looking for an Import and Export Documentation Expert to work in a multinational company. Its products and services are designed to benefit people and improve their quality of life.
PURPOSE
The Import and Export Documentation Expert acts as point of contact for Distribution Management and Transport Execution teams related to logistics execution activities. The Import and Export Documentation Expert contributes to on-time, cost-efficient, and GDP compliant transports of raw materials, bulk, and finished products and is capable of driving process improvement within the global logistics operations management.
Major tasks of position:
1. Intercompany Delivery Order Management
2. Responsible for import and export documentation according to country requirements and regulations in preparation for transport planning and execution
3. Executes manual transport shipments
4. Co-contributes, if required, to support customs related activities and provides all necessary documentation for trade / GDP purposes.
5. Responsible for the order to invoice cycle, ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers in line with agreed metrics maintaining high customer satisfaction.
6. Transport Planning & Preparation
7. Responsible for export documentation necessary for transport execution (e.g., commercial invoice, packing list, weight note, Certificate of Origin, Dangerous Goods certification if required, etc.)
8. Contributes and supports customs related activities, providing all necessary documentation for trade / GDP purposes when required.
9. Contributes to transport metrics and performance monitoring to maintain high customer satisfaction
10. Contributes to new routings, lanes, or product launches setup
11. Acts as an expert for transportation and logistics supporting new logistics setup with inputs related to country requirements
12. Contributes to set up new routings, trade lanes, or product launches ensuring adherence to internal GxP requirements
13. Supports and leads Continuous Improvement Initiatives
14. Supports or leads continuous improvement initiatives to optimize process flows (e.g., documents automation or digitalization, communication, sustainability, or any capabilities development required in line with logistics strategy)
Skills:
1. University degree in business administration, logistics, or supply chain
2. Working experience (+2 years) in supply chain and logistics, preferably in Pharmaceutical or similar industry
3. Very good skills in communication
4. Proactive skills, team player, result-oriented, and keen on working in a cross-cultural working environment
5. Understanding of legal, regulatory, and GMP / GXP environment in FMCG & Pharmaceuticals distribution.
6. Basic knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics
7. Good background in transport planning and execution
8. Excellent customer focus and good stakeholder management
9. Proactive approach, action-oriented with the ability to solve problems and set priorities.
10. Ability to drive projects with low complexity.
11. Good knowledge to use SAP, Microsoft Office, and other software packages
12. Language: English fluent; Spanish or German is a plus
