ABOUT THE POSITION (International Process Engineer)
We are looking for an International Process Engineer to join our Corporate Engineering Direction.
The International Process Engineer will be responsible for the design, operation and implementation of manufacturing processes to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.
This position involves evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.
The responsibilities also involve frequent travelling (approximatelly 40%) to on-site analysis of the processes, improvements implementation and support to local teams.
Among the specific tasks related to the position you will find.
* Analyze customer specifications and work in coordination with production, with the aim of producing the goods according to customer requirements
* Guarantee the efficiency of the production processes in terms of time, cost and methodology
* Apply continuous improvements initiatives to production processes
* Perform Lean Production, TPM, FMEA studies, and be responsible for related activities and projects.
* Analyze time and methods and define times of all the production phases
* Generating procedures, workflows, work instructions, SAP Routing
* Follow-up projects and prepare reports to about status, highlighting achievements and possible improvements
* Perform process simulations
* Data analysis
* Provide suggestions during incident investigations.
* Research and purchase new manufacturing technology.
ABOUT THE PROFILE REQUIRED
Official Training:
* Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferable)
Official Experience:
* 3 years of previous experience in Industrial Manufacturing Engineering (Steel Manufacturing, Automotive...)
Additional Knowledge:
* Steel / Welding / Surface Treatment
* Lean Manufacturing / 5S / SixSigma
* Specific Project Management Systems and Methodologies
Languages:
* Upper / Intermediate level of English (B2) (Daily use, both written and oral with international factories)
IT/Softwares:
* Specific Process Engineering Softwares
* Specifc Project Management Softwares
* Excel (Adavanced)
* SAP (Highly Valued)
* PowerBI (Highly Valued)
Mobility
* Open to a frequent national and international travels (aproximatelly 40% of the time). All travels are managed through our official Travel Agency and costs are covered by the company in accordance with our Corporate Travel Policy
