As part of our international expansion process (sustained growth of 20% per year) and positioning in large projects at European level (5 to 60M€ in battery plants, microelectronics, big pharma, glass plants), we are looking to strengthen our management team and incorporate an: Business Development Manager.
Reporting to the Director of the International Business Unit, and working closely with the Commercial Director, he/she will be responsible for the consolidation of the business, through the commercial management of new opportunities for large projects at European level.
It will focus on:
* Position the company in an international commercial environment, through sales and marketing activities. Detect commercial opportunities, new related projects: microelectronics giga factories, batteries/ automotive, pharma,...
* Identify and qualify customer needs, accompany and advise with customized technical solutions, define budgets.
* Set up of the supply chain, strengthening relationships with stakeholders: engineering firms, equipment manufacturers, subcontractors,...
* Collaborate with engineering/study teams, and with the sales teams of our affiliates to prepare and submit bids.
* Manage sales together with the business development team and lead contract negotiations with customers during the project launch phase.
* Transfer information on the progress of new projects to the operations-projects and finance areas.
* Participate in meetings of the sector: fairs, conferences,...
This is a challenge with international exposure and potential evolution of responsibilities towards the Management Committee, in the context of a relevant international group, in full expansion process.
Professional Requirements:
* Educational background in Engineering. An MBA is valuable.
* Experience of more than 5 years in business development/commercial functions, in services/products business from Engineering, Installers, EPC, construction companies, for large industrial projects, at international level.
* Knowledge of electromechanical installations and HVAC will be an asset.
* Interpersonal skills and high interlocution, excellent sales and negotiation skills, customer oriented and team player.
* Proactivity and adaptation of solutions to customer needs, from solution creation to quotation approach.
* High level of English, other languages are valuable.
* Availability for short-term international travel.
