Computer Vision Engineer - Machine Learning / Python / Image Processing / Object Detection
We are recruiting for a Computer Vision Engineer with 4+ years of experience in software development, excellent Python knowledge and strong knowledge of image processing techniques, object detection and segmentation etc to join our client in the beautiful city of Barcelona in Spain on a permanent basis, working on a hybrid model (4 days per week in office, 1 day per week from home)
This organizing is well established startup with with solid financial backing and a focus on robotics/drone manufacturing for the capture of high quality, high resolution images.
As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be focused research, developing and implementing Q&A algorithms on imagery using state-of-the-art DL and CV techniques, you will improve georeferencing processes and experiment with different approaches and optimize our clients deep learning models, ensuring scalability and efficiency (among numerous other tasks)
Please note, you must hold an EU passport or have the full right to work in Spain to be considered for this role.
Required skills:
* 4+ years of experience in a professional software development environment.
* Degree in computer science, computer vision, machine learning or equivalent.
* Proficient in Python with extensive experience in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
* Strong knowledge of image processing techniques, object detection and segmentation (YOLO, Faster R-CNN, Mask R-CNN, etc).
* Experience in the use of deep learning image architectures and deploying models in production environments.
* Familiarity with cloud-based imagery or data pipelines.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
* Knowledge of GDAL and geospatial Python libraries (Shapely, rasterio..) is a plus.
