As a Sales Director, the person is overall responsible for the Elopak performance in the particular market(s). The purpose is to set and achieve sales targets. The person is the main head of all commercial activities in the market and takes the overall lead to existing and new clients. The Sales Director holds long-lasting relationships at customer top level and acts as the liaison between key customers and internal teams. Moreover, as a Sales Director, this person ensures the smooth interaction of the Market Unit with Corporate (HQ), Regional and other local Units leading with integrity the KAM’s or / and Sales Managers in line with the Elopak guidelines and policy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Responsible for setting business plans (Sales / Prospecting) for local Sales to follow, considering present market trends, regulation evolution, and business models. This includes identifying and developing new approaches to potential customers and achieving the agreed sales targets and outcomes on time.
2. Responsible for establishing, sustaining, and optimizing the Elopak / Customer relationship, aiming to increase customer satisfaction through timely delivery of products and services.
3. Has negotiation authority in the presales process and when closing sales cases in relation to offer/demand prices, ensuring alignment with negotiated settlements and Elopak’s policies.
4. Responsible for managing the sales process, including composing proposals and targeting potential new consumer audiences to expand the sales network.
5. Support presales activities through customer presentations and product demonstrations to acquire new customers and strengthen existing relationships.
6. Create and ensure transparency within market development by analyzing strengths and weaknesses in the business with analyses on sales and market territory, forecasts, estimations, and reports to stakeholders.
7. Work collaboratively with other internal Elopak Teams to achieve strong customer support, including expediting the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
8. Lead the Key Account Managers team in Market Unit Spean, setting goals and objectives to ensure the team’s qualitative development in competence and motivation.
9. Gather and share relevant information about Customer’s vision and future needs to consider when developing Elopak’s product portfolio.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or similar academic background.
10 to 15 years of professional experience in similar roles in multinational organizations.
Fluent in Spanish and English. Any other European languages are highly valuable.
