Define the global strategy of the Life Science business through the development and execution of commercial plans that ensure business development as well as the achievement of sales and profitability objectives established in the annual budget, with the support of a commercial team, reporting directly and/or functionally assigned.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Aligned with the company's objectives, propose, develop, and achieve commercial objectives, expense control, and financial goals of the annual budget for the Life Science market, ensuring the continuous creation of value for Caldic Ibérica.
* Promote the development of the Health and Food market in accordance with the company's global strategy, considering the potential and trends of the industry, both nationally and cross-border in the different subsidiaries of the group.
* Supervise the responsibilities of the direct commercial team assigned in Iberia to ensure that the implementation of the strategy, management model, commercial process, NOF tracking, and establishment of business KPIs are perfectly aligned with Caldic Ibérica's strategy.
* Actively collaborate in establishing pricing and margin policies by market and industry in collaboration with the Director of Marketing & Business Development and General Management, in line with Caldic Ibérica strategy, and supervise compliance by the commercial teams.
* Cooperate in improving all financial and operational parameters of their business area, with special attention to those related to customer credit and Working Capital Needs (customer balance, customer risks, inventory levels, stock consignments, payment term negotiations with represented companies, etc.).
* Lead, develop, and manage change within the commercial team, guiding and motivating them towards new methodologies and work dynamics, market trends, and business approaches.
* Implement and promote the establishment of commercial plans and knowledge of the potential of their market of responsibility, assuming a significant part of the relationship and communication with them.
* Ensure the correct use, exploitation, and monitoring by the commercial team of internal processes and business tools established by the company to maintain and exploit information and facilitate the necessary reporting for decision-making in their business area.
* Interpret and anticipate customer requirements and manage their expectations through effective communication and mobilization of internal resources in line with the company's strategy/commercial plan.
* Stimulate, develop, and increase market demand for products and/or applications in the company's solution portfolio to promote its growth and profitability.
* Develop the necessary networking, create professional links and alliances to promote the company's brand and recognition in the market, representing and defending Caldic Ibérica interests before third-party institutions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* You have over 5 years as Commercial Director and/or Marketing and New Developments Director and/or Business Development Director in distributor and/or manufacturer companies associated with the chemical sector, requiring extensive knowledge.
* Proven experience in structuring, remodeling, and reorienting local commercial teams in Iberia with functional transversal projection towards the group's subsidiaries in Latam (Chile and Colombia).
* Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or similar.
* MBA ESADE / IESE.
* Master's/Postgraduate in commercial and marketing.
* Advanced English.
* Advanced Microsoft Office.
* Proficiency in commercial management tools (CRM), ideally Salesforce.
* Experience in specialties.
* You will build strong relationships with all areas of the company, in Iberia and subsidiaries.
* External Relationships with suppliers / represented companies, clients, sectoral institutions.
* You will be expected to travel frequently (20% or more of work time).
