For our client, a provider of smart home solutions, we are currently looking for a:
SUPPORT AND PROJECT ENGINEER (M/F/D)
Your main responsibilities:
* Programming of projects, including coordination and validation of technical specifications with the customer, project programming, and documentation. The goal is to deliver a programmed and functional solution according to customer requirements.
* Commissioning of sample rooms together with the operations team to present a fully functional solution to the customer.
* Providing support, maintenance, and handling technical inquiries throughout the entire lifecycle of the project/product to resolve technical issues and ensure excellent customer service.
* Actively reporting identified needs to the project department to continuously improve products, solutions, and programming systems.
* Managing integrations with local software in collaboration with the HQ team to foster partnerships with other industry players.
* Ensuring up-to-date work processes to facilitate onboarding for new team members.
* Providing technical consultation to the sales team regarding programming capabilities to ensure that proposed solutions can actually be implemented.
* Conducting beta tests for products/solutions to be integrated into new versions, ensuring that developed solutions meet customer requirements.
Your profile:
* Completed studies (Bachelor + Master) in Engineering (Industrial or similar) or an equivalent qualification in a technical field.
* Alternatively: Completed training as an electronics technician and ideally further education as a certified technician (Bachelor Professional), master craftsman, or a comparable qualification.
* Strong knowledge of KNX.
* Experience with DALI and network configuration.
* Basic knowledge of Linux.
* Fluent – level Japanese and fluent English.
