We are seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for driving new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and representing our brand. Essential Responsibilities:
1. Account Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing clients; understand client needs and goals to provide tailored solutions; identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
2. New Business Development: Conduct market research to identify potential clients; proactively generate new leads; develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new accounts.
3. Revenue Growth: Set and achieve sales targets; monitor sales performance; develop initiatives to maximize revenue and profitability.
4. Strategic Planning: Analyze market trends; collaborate with leadership to define strategic sales and delivery plans; align strategies with organizational growth objectives.
5. Service Proposition Expansion: Stay informed about industry trends; work with product development to incorporate new features; evaluate and enhance service offerings.
6. Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations; ensure contracts comply with company policies and legal standards.
7. Professional Development: Keep abreast of industry best practices; attend relevant workshops and training.
Qualifications and Experience:
* At least 10 years of B2B sales experience in an industrial or commodities market, preferably in oil and gas, power generation, energy, chemical, petrochemical, refining, renewables, offshore services, or similar sectors.
* Experience in the renewable energy sector (photovoltaic, wind, bio, etc.).
* Proven success in selling complex technical services to major industrial buyers in an international environment.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in technology, engineering, or business.
* Minimum of 5 years managing teams of professional sales personnel.
