Viking Travel Care are looking to recruit a new colleague with experience from the travel assistance industry, to strengthen our daily operations.
The role will be responsible for projects and tasks, operational and/or administrative, related to the Operation of Travel Care. To some extent it can be discussed to adjust the tasks to the candidates’ specific competencies, if they are in line with Travel Care’s needs.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the daily shift management such as Floor Officer or other task assigned to secure efficient workflow on the shifts for calls, tasks and case handling.
2. Participate in the implementation of new customers or new routines for the Operations.
3. Ensure that daily routines contribute to fulfillment of SLA’s and KPI’s.
4. Execute on quality processes in the daily operations, suggest improvements.
5. Support the Travel Care Team Leaders in competence development and training of staff.
6. Work as an Assistance Coordinator when required, for answering incoming calls and e-mail.
Qualifications
1. Minimum 2 years’ experience from travel insurance assistance.
2. Experience from supervision / shift management in an alarm center for travel assistance.
3. Knowledge of and ability to handle all types of travel insurance assistance case types.
4. Experience from training and coaching colleagues/staff.
5. Fluent in the needed language (Norwegian, Danish, Swedish or Finnish; Finnish speakers must be fluent in Swedish), and English (additional languages are a plus).
6. Experienced user of IT-systems and can quickly learn new systems.

Workplace
The position can be located at our Travel Care Operations in Torrevieja OR Fuengirola, Spain.
Working hours
The position will work in rotation day, evening and weekends. Since we are a 24/7/365 contact centre, other working hours may be required at times.
