Key Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within a hospitality establishment. This position entails managing all aspects of the F&B department to ensure high quality, service, and profitability standards. The F&B Manager works closely with the Director of Restaurants and other departmental managers to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve business goals.
Core Work Activities
1. Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets.
2. Ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery.
3. Develop and implement operational standards and procedures.
4. Prepare and manage the F&B department's budget.
5. Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
6. Implement cost-control measures while maintaining quality.
7. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
8. Ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
9. Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally and efficiently.
10. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences.
11. Collaborate with chefs and F&B managers to create innovative and appealing menus.
12. Ensure menus reflect current trends, guest preferences, and profitability.
13. Oversee menu pricing and portion control.
14. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
15. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
16. Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote F&B outlets and services.
17. Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
18. Analyze market trends and competitor activities.
19. Oversee procurement and inventory management for F&B supplies.
20. Plan and oversee the execution of F&B aspects of events and banquets.
Skills, Experience & Core Work Activities
1. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications in food and beverage management are a plus.
2. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in food and beverage management, with at least 2 years in a senior managerial role.
3. Proven track record of successful F&B operations management in a high-volume establishment.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Superior guest service and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
7. Proficiency in F&B management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
9. Proficient English and Spanish is mandatory.
A suitable candidate will be reporting directly to the Director of Restaurants.
