The Global Retail Manager would help in our retail expansion strategy, providing crucial support, upholding high standards, fostering process improvement, and safeguarding financial prudence across all our subsidiaries and brands.
What you'll get to do
* Provide help, support, tools and procedures to local PM teams regarding project cost, analysis of alternatives, cost estimation and other analyses in support of investment control.
* Oversee the tender process managed by local teams, guaranteeing that project costs are aligned with the forecast.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings, collaborate with the procurement department to negotiate and prepare technical documentation to sign Master agreements with preferred suppliers.
* Develop and maintain globally consistent PM templates and dashboards for project monitoring and reporting.
* Be responsible for, maintain, train new users and track projects through the RETAIL DESIGN TOOL, the internal tool dedicated to design and construction phase, used by teams globally.
* Fluent and efficient interaction with all parties (brands and subsidiaries); independently lead projects and manage key stakeholders, internally and externally.
* Identify and resolve issues that can adversely impact project schedules or costs.
* Coordinate improvement initiatives and best practice sharing to increase the efficiency of regional and local teams. Support local teams on alignment of processes, project documents and data collection.
* Lead and oversee the local PMs, providing expert guidance and advice on all matters relating to project delivery.
* Regular analysis of the KPIs and creation of the action plans to reach target levels.
* Be responsible for the brands showroom located in our HQ, leading refurbishments and maintenance of the space.

Experience :
* Equipped with a degree in architecture or PM construction.
* Solid construction Project Management experience (min. 5 years) within the Fragrance, Beauty or Luxury Retail industries.
* Strong commercial acumen with financial and investigative capability. Ability to budget and manage project costs and a solid understanding of financial reconciliation of construction related costs.
* Highly skilled in AutoCAD.
* A self-starter with the proven ability to work independently and on tight timelines.
* An organizational powerhouse who can prioritize work and juggle responsibilities.
* An excellent communicator with strong soft skills.
* Experienced in working with cross functional teams within & outside of the company, including leasing, development, design & construction teams.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Confident in presenting and sharing information effectively in cross functional teams.
* Ability to manage matrix teams including consultants, 3rd party providers and local teams to ensure timely completion and maintenance of global standard for all projects.
Education :
A professional qualification in one of the following : Architecture or construction PM.
Languages :
* English and French, proficiency working level.
* Spanish.
* Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder setup.
* Ability to work in fast paced environment.
Specific Knowledge required :
* Used to interact with multifunctional and multicultural teams.
* Flexibility to manage competing priorities and shift focus as determined by changing priorities and needs of the department or the business as a whole.
* Must be an organized and motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills who thrives on working in a fast-paced team environment; very strong campaign and project management skills.
* Keen attention to detail.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
* Ability to manage multiple projects at a time; excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
